Doesn’t everyone like a good jobs report? After oil taking a plunge last year, making a little come back and then going back down more recenlty, China’s growth slowing, and a little political turmoil around the world many of Wall Streets soothsayers have been scratching their heads wondering wear the US economy is headed.
But thankfully the jobs report in July was strong and we can all breathe a sigh of relief for the time being. The unemployment rate is at a healthy 4.9%, which is actually flat in July because more people entered the labor market, thus being counted as unemployed, and ended up finding work.
